Columbia Cascade
Railway -Stonebrier |
|
Stonebrier is probably the most
isolated next to the paper facility at Eagle Pass. Stonebrier is a
smaller community, that has become a bedroom community for the larger
metro area where people can get away from the "big city". A number
of small industries do flourish here including a small Pillsbury plant
that make biscuits and croissant rolls that are in the dairy case. Running
down the highway their is a long spur that is locally called the "alley"
that houses half a dozen smaller players, including Wilder salvage |
 |
Pillsbury is to the
right with two spurs and Buckner Industries to the left. They
manufacturer equipment used in the commercial fishing industry. |
|
Northwest Pacific
Grain have two spurs to their facility. Currently a
Milwaukee freight from Black River is passing thru on the way to
Heritage. |
