PRR/Reading
The Reading eastbound mainline enters the layout from Helix #2 – and will run parallel to the PRR Mt. Carmel branch. The Reading has the majority of switching in this part of town. Most freight deliveries and or pick-ups are handled by the local Sunbury Turn from Shamokin (the next town east).
The PRR has a relatively small switching area on the lower level of this part of town. This area is serviced by the Mt. Carmel Turn.
