Twin City Rails -Minot |

Minot, located on
the North Dakota plains, was a busy industrial city for the Great
Northern. Agriculture including canneries, beef processing, grain
elevators, farm implement dealers, and farm supply dealers were the
major industries in Minot.
The GN Empire Builder was a major
transportation route for citizens of Minot. The GN had a huge hump
freight yard in Minot. The layout includes a depot, two passing sidings,
a GN engine house, and many industries. |
